“ First timers. Everything about the tavern was first class. Fabulous menu. It was very difficult to choose I had Fruit de Mare. It was excellent. The best I’ve had in a long time. My husband had the kale soup…he said “ better than mine”. He also wanted to pick, so he ordered the charcuterie board. Amazing!! Service was spot on. Our waitress, Nicole, was so sweet and accommodating. We actually are heading back there tomorrow night for their prime rib special. ”

The family that owns this place are such great, hardworking people! The kitchen staff here sure knows how to put out a picturesque plate that tastes just as good as it looks! The bartender, Kirsten even made me a wonderful blackberry smash Mocktail, accommodating me and making me feel included as I don’t drink. The inside of this restaurant is gorgeous, big bar, cool high top table with lots of seats if you’re looking to entertain a big group. “ Great staff and ownership. Nice welcome family feel. TVs, music, fireplace and a couch! Got the burger and a beer for dinner. Have had other meals. Food presentation is exceptional. High quality ingredients obvious, good food. Cleanest well regulated beer taps you'll find. Today, photo of Caprese Panini! With crispy chicken. ”

“ Our first visit was on a Friday night, staff was excellent, pleasant, and very accommodating! As we entered, we were promptly greeted and seated right away. The Inside looked very nice and inviting, but we had chosen to sit at the patio. The patio had potted flowers, and umbrellas at the tables for a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. The drink menu had some really interesting and unique cocktails that were wonderfully surprising. The entre menu offered a wide selection, with descriptions that made our choices challenging but rewarding. The cherry on top was that the pricing was not outrageous in the least, and for the quality of the nicely prepared food and our overall experience, was a welcomed bonus. Our experience at the Black Lantern Tavern was superb, and the depth of their dinner and cocktail menus beckon us to return to explore what is sure to be another terrific experience! ”
